Spray Finishing

Our Spray Finishing Services

High-quality joinery spray finishing complements our joinery knowledge and craftsmanship

Specialists In Spray Finishing

A new generation of high-performance microporous paint finishes has transformed joinery painting. Add this to a wide range of tried-and-tested stains, oils and varnishes and the choices available to specifiers, builders, developers and property owners has never been greater.
Our South Devon joinery workshop is equipped with a dedicated commercial spray booth and drying room specialising in painting and lacquering. The joinery spraying we do here perfectly complements the traditional joinery craftsmanship skills that go into handcrafting your bespoke joinery.
Please note that we specialise in commercial spraying for timber joinery – we’re not car or metal fabrication sprayers. We prefer to stick to what we do best – achieving stunning finishes on bespoke timber joinery projects such as these:

  • Interior and exterior doors
  • Casement windows
  • Timber sliding sash windows
  • Bespoke fitted furniture
  • Kitchen unit resprays
  • Timber garage doors

We craft wood and spray it beautifully; you (or your customer) enjoy the results…

More on joinery spray finishing

Although it’s rare to supply joinery unfinished for on-site painting or staining these days, we can do so if required. For most joinery, customers appreciate the control our integrated joinery workshop and spray finishing gives to work as varied as refurbishing domestic kitchen units and wooden furniture, making and restoring bespoke timber sash windows, doors, fitted furniture and architectural joinery, and crafting structures such as conservatories.

  • Fully enclosed spray booth
  • Temperature-controlled
  • Dust-free environment
  • Overhead runner transfer to drying room
  • Dedicated drying room for curing

Spray finishing under these controlled conditions ensures consistency and superior finish. It perfectly complements the preceding stages in the joinery process:

  • Painstaking design
  • Skilled hand assembly
  • Flexible joint sealing
  • Careful preparation with advanced primer-preservatives.

Only when we’re completely happy will we use advanced, high-sustainability, low-VOC paint systems such as Teknos or Sikkens to apply the undercoating and top coating that enable us to offer once- unimaginable paint guarantees for finished joinery.

Our range of finishes, in solid and translucent colours, includes the following:

  • Low-VOC microporous paint
  • Lacquers
  • Stains
  • Varnishes
  • Oils

And of course, however beautiful colour and fine timber must work together for you, we’ll match your spraying specification to a range of softwood, hardwood and advanced timbers such as Accoya®.
