As with any custom-made joinery, our timber doors and doorsets offer important advantages:
We design, make and fit stunning bespoke timber doors in most sizes with these supply options:
Look forward to a seamless service throughout measurement, bespoke manufacture, fitting and related structural work.
Regardless of size, style, finish, glazing and hardware, if you can imagine a timber door or gate, we can usually make it:
We’ll help you choose the most suitable material from a wide range of timbers. These include traditional softwoods, hardwoods and modern advanced timbers such as these:
Naturally, we can source wood to your specification or recommend something suitable for your timber doors and windows.
Accoya® is an advanced timber from Accys Technologies that has been treated with a patented acetylation process. The result is very durable, maintains strength and resists rot impressively (its manufacturer guarantees it for 50 years above ground and 25 years in the ground or freshwater).
Accoya® is perfect for uses as diverse as timber doors and windows, decking and cladding. It’s also dimensionally stable, takes coatings beautifully and is made from sustainably sourced FSC timber.
After thorough timber preservation and priming, high-quality commercial spraying in our joinery spray booth gives beautiful, long-lasting finishes:
As you would expect, we’re experienced with professional paint systems such as Teknos and Sikkens. We also offer a huge range of colours to match your specification. This includes 1625 RAL Design colours and colours from other leading paint brands such as Farrow & Ball, Dulux and Crown.
Do you need custom made external doors to match existing paintwork – or a neighbouring property’s decoration? Our spray booth makes it possible with high-quality finishes that look great and last. We can supply all our joinery painted and ready to install so you avoid messy, time-consuming on-site finishing. Having our own spray booth also gives outstanding control over finishing and its integration with all other aspects of joinery manufacture.
Another attraction of custom-built door joinery is being able to specify exactly the door hardware and glazing you want. From BS3621 locks to advanced acoustic glass, we can help.
Working with our sister company, our capability ranges from making new doors to the latest building regulations to restoring centuries-old heritage doors in listed properties.
Because we’re FENSA-approved, you can be sure our replacement timber doors and windows comply with the Building Regulations. Whether you’re an architect, builder or homeowner, peace of mind comes built in.
We undertake restoration, draught proofing, weatherproofing and double glazing of timber doors for small jobs and large projects alike. Door restoration is sometimes done on-site, but usually in our workshop. It could be a houseful of Georgian doors, a commercial refurbishment or one front door. Whatever we do, the standard is equally high.
By the way, if we can avoid replacement by repairing doors we’ll do so. Combining traditional joinery skills and the latest professional epoxy wood-repair systems gives remarkable results.
As with any heritage joinery, a major challenge is maintaining heritage properties’ unique character. Again, we draw on our sister company’s property maintenance and restoration skills. Their experience with listed properties and conservation areas means we complete repair, replacement or restoration of timber doors and windows perfectly in keeping with the property.
Accurate profile matching of details such as door architraves, skirting boards and other interior mouldings is essential. All we need to match what’s already there are drawings, samples or photographs. Then we use standard profile tools or make bespoke cutters to faithfully reproduce existing details.
Bifold patio doors feature multiple door leaves opening concertina-style and folding nearly flat when open. We often fit external bifold doors instead of traditional patio doors. Their foldability integrates house and garden in ways other doors can’t match. Similarly, interior bifold doors help make more of available indoor space.
For standard-size or made-to-measure bifold doors alike, we design, manufacture and install. Are you trying to choose between bifold or sliding doors? We can custom-manufacture both from timber.
Entrust us with design and bespoke manufacture of your timber garage door and get exactly the door and garage door frame you need – here are some ideas:
It’s the same for gates. Whether they’re imposing 5-bar estate-style gates or small garden gates for Victorian terraced properties, we design and handcraft gates such as these:
As with all our bespoke joinery, we don’t manufacture for stock. Everything we make is custom-made for you or your client.
There are good reasons for not menu pricing the cost to install bifold doors, internal door fitting cost or the price of bespoke wooden garage doors supplied and fitted. From replacement front doors to the cost of bifold doors fitted, our pricing is bespoke – like our joinery.
Regardless of project size, we listen equally carefully to your needs, advise on materials and finishing, then agree a clear, itemised price and work specification – including our convenient door fitting service if needed.
Because of this, you know from the start that you’re getting a fair, transparent price and that we’ve taken all your needs into consideration. It beats menu pricing every time – because menu pricing can never fully reflect your unique requirement.
